Draw the boundary
Terrain, slope and aspect are then sampled across the whole property. A dropped pin scores one point on a hillside; a boundary scores the hillside.
Drop where you sit
Each stand is a place the score can be computed FOR. Without them there is one number for the ground and no answer to "which one do I sit today".
Add the camera and the feeder
Not every marker is a sit. A feeder is food, which the harvest score listens to; a camera is a lane you are watching without being there.
Mark the sign you find
Tracks and scrapes pin what is actually happening to the ground being scored — and the journal they hang off is what drives the hunting-pressure penalty.
Aim them, and the cones light up
A facing turns a marker into a lane you are watching. Sixty degrees wide, because that is roughly what you really watch from a stand.
Now the wind means something
Stand A is looking downwind — your scent goes straight into the lane you are watching, and the advantage score marks it down. Stand B, same ground, same wind, is clean.
One score hides four different questions
Cold with a hard wind moves deer and ruins a bow sit. A calm, clear fifty degrees is poor movement and a fine morning to glass. Those are not the same day, so HuntPulse does not pretend they score the same.

Fog, precipitation, cloud and light, fresh snow for tracking — and for turkey, the wind and rain that shut gobbling down.

Can you get in undetected?
Wind speed, gusts, and whether the direction holds. Thermals off your slope and aspect. Whether the ground is quiet enough to walk.

The other three, blended for the species — then adjusted for how hard the ground has been hunted and what there is to eat.
Private by default
Your land stays yours
Every location you add is secret unless you say otherwise. The coordinates, the property boundary you draw, and your stand positions are encrypted before they are stored — and left out of the admin portal entirely. Nobody browsing the database, and no other subscriber, can see where your ground is.
Your calendar events carry the name you chose and nothing else. No coordinates, no map pin, no place name.
The honest limit. Scoring your ground means decrypting it every morning on the server, so whoever runs HuntPulse could recover a location. This defeats database browsing, the admin interface, and every other user — not the operator. We claim exactly that much and no more.

Scored per species
Each species gets its own weights and its own biological calendar. Turkey rewards a rising barometer; whitetail barely notices it. Elk care about snow in a way deer do not.

Ground anyone can hunt, listed by the people already scoring it — $2.00/month instead of $3.00, because the listing helps everyone else.
